WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
This Fall beginning on October 1st, our High School youth and older Middle Schoolers will be attending the Alpha Course every Wednesday night from 6:00-8:30pm (includes dinner, video and a casual discussion time). We'll have a special Youth Table during dinner and a Youth Small Group during the discussion time. This will be an excellent opportunity for our youth and their friends to gain a greater understanding of their faith, as well as a safe place to ask questions and explore the claims of Christianity. The younger middle schoolers will be helping Lindsay Delmarter lead the Kids' Choir rehearsals during Alpha.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
The youth (ages 12 to 18) will have their own Youth Sunday School class at 8:45am each week starting September 14th. The class (led by Debi Taylor-Hough and Mark Malidore) will be a brief survey of the Bible, a short overview of how to speak Presbyterian, and a time of studying together through one of the Gospels. After the morning class each Sunday, the youth will be joining with the adults during the main worship service.
YOUTH GROUP "Just for Fun!" ACTIVITIES
We don't have the calendar finalized yet for the upcoming year with dates, times, etc., but a few things that will be happening this year are: Monthly movie nights, game nights, a Harvest Block Party on Halloween night, a "Christmas in the Islands" holiday party, and lots more.
